아산 온천 3곳이 한자리에…‘힐링+체험’ 축제 4일간 열린다

The city announced that it will host the "Asan Top 3 Hot Spring Healing Festival” for four days, from April 30 to May 3, in conjunction with the 65th Asan Admiral Yi Sun-sin Festival.
This event is notable for bringing together the region’s three major hot springs—Onyang Hot Spring, Asan Hot Spring, and Dogo Hot Spring—and restructuring them into a unified tourism program. Rather than being a simple viewing event, it is designed as an interactive festival that combines hands-on experiences with relaxation, allowing both residents and visitors to fully enjoy the charm of hot springs.
At the festival site, various facilities for families will be available, including water play pools using hot spring water and air slides. Indoor and outdoor foot bath areas will also be set up, offering visitors of all ages an easy and enjoyable way to experience hot spring healing. High participation is especially expected from families with children.
In addition, a variety of interactive programs will be offered, such as hot spring industry promotion booths, royal traditional costume experiences, a stamp tour, and craft-making activities. The layout of the venue has been efficiently designed to allow visitors to naturally move between experiences and relaxation.
Food options have also been enhanced. A food truck zone will be operated near Onyang Oncheon Station, with tables and seating provided so visitors can comfortably enjoy a wide range of food. The strategy is to connect hot spring experiences, dining, and events into a seamless flow, thereby encouraging longer stays.
An official from Asan City stated, "The key feature of this Hot Spring Healing Festival is that it allows visitors to experience the region’s excellent hot spring resources all in one place. We expect it to establish itself as a healing-oriented tourism content where people can recharge both body and mind away from daily life.”

[아산=김도영 기자] 충남 아산시가 지역 대표 관광자원인 온천을 앞세운 체험형 축제를 선보인다. 시는 ‘제65회 아산 성웅 이순신 축제’와 연계해 오는 4월 30일부터 5월 3일까지 나흘간 ‘아산 3대 온천힐링축제’를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 온양온천, 아산온천, 도고온천 등 지역을 대표하는 3대 온천을 하나로 묶어 관광 콘텐츠로 재구성한 것이 특징이다. 단순한 관람형을 넘어 체험과 휴식을 결합한 프로그램으로, 시민과 관광객 모두가 온천의 매력을 직접 느낄 수 있도록 기획됐다.

축제장에서는 온천수를 활용한 물놀이 풀장과 에어 슬라이드 등 가족 단위 방문객을 위한 놀이시설이 운영된다. 실내·야외 족욕 체험 공간도 마련돼 남녀노소 누구나 부담 없이 온천 힐링을 즐길 수 있다. 특히 어린이를 동반한 가족 관람객의 참여도가 높을 것으로 기대된다.

이와 함께 온천산업 홍보부스, 왕실 전통의상 체험, 스탬프 투어, 공예·만들기 프로그램 등 다양한 참여형 콘텐츠도 준비됐다. 방문객들이 자연스럽게 체험과 휴식을 오갈 수 있도록 동선도 효율적으로 구성했다.

먹거리 공간도 강화됐다. 행사장 인근 온양온천역 일대에는 푸드트럭존이 운영되며, 테이블과 의자가 갖춰진 휴식형 공간에서 다양한 음식을 편안하게 즐길 수 있다. 온천 체험과 먹거리, 이벤트를 하나의 흐름으로 연결해 ‘체류형 관광’ 효과를 높인다는 전략이다.아산시 관계자는 "이번 온천힐링축제는 지역의 우수한 온천 자원을 한자리에서 체험할 수 있도록 구성한 점이 핵심”이라며 "일상에서 벗어나 몸과 마음을 재충전할 수 있는 힐링형 관광 콘텐츠로 자리 잡을 것으로 기대한다”고 말했다.
